Kids today are a talented and “smart” lot. They tinker around, think, imagine, create & invent amazing things; and even receive Presidential invitations to the White House. So do these children, who have social media at their fingertips, really need a lesson on social media propriety? Do they need to be warned of the pitfalls and possible dangers on the vast internet?

  • 2013 Pew Research Center study found that teens are quite conscious about privacy - 51% have avoided apps because of privacy concerns.
  • Parents are mostly concerned about their children unknowingly getting in touch with strangers or miscreants online.
  • It is important to teach kids how to identify predatory and unhealthy behavior on the Internet.
