SHAILA on February 13, 2013

This newsletter went out over the weekend to the mailing list and there has been a huge response to it. Check it out!

Yippee! The Safe Browser 3.2 update is on the App Store. Among other things, this version restores support for older devices with iOS 4.x. If you've been waiting for it, download it now

At Mobicip, one of the most common questions we field is about the benefits of the Premium service. With the recent series of feature announcements, the list is getting quite long. So here is a quick run down.

Basic

When you register with Mobicip, your account is at the 'Basic' level by default. You can login and setup user profiles at one of three filtering levels - Elementary, Middle, or High School. These are predetermined filtering levels chosen by a sort of running average defined by Mobicip usage at hundreds of schools worldwide.

Premium

Browsing History

As a Premium user, you can monitor the internet browsing history without so much as touching the device. Login

online and select 'Reports'. You can also choose to receive these reports by emailperiodically.

Time Limits

Set time limits for internet usage by hours of the day and days of the week. For instance, you could disallow internet access after 7 pm on weekdays, in preparation for bedtime, for example.

Accountability Mode

Mobicip supports what is called 'Accountability Mode'. You can setup a user profile at 'No Filtering. Reports Only' level. This will allow the user to access the internet unfettered, but with reporting enabled.

Custom Filtering

Login and go to Settings to customize the filter by websitescategoriesphrases or keywords. Upgrading to Premium is easy! Simply login and click 'Upgrade Now' when prompted.

If you have any issues or concerns, please contact support. If you are happy with Mobicip, please write a quick review on the App Store (or Google Play store)! Your feedback and help is much appreciated!
