App Helps Parents Connect With Kids

SUREN on November 30, 2013

There used to be a time when you would setup an internet filter for the family computer and forget about it. Not anymore. In a world where the internet is rapidly evolving and coalescing, new content is published by the second, and the content is being accessed on any available gadget, it doesn’t make sense to be such an aloof parent anymore.

To help you, Mobicip has created a new Monitor app that is available today on the iOS App Store
The Monitor allows you to stay in touch with the internet activity and browsing habits of your kids, all conveniently from a personal iPhone or iPad. The app also offers parental controls such as the ability to whitelist or blacklist a website / domain in the browsing history, change the filtering level, and edit the filtering profiles in the account.

While the general notion is that kids are more tech-savvy than parents today, you have a vital role to play in educating kids on using the internet. But kids spend so much time online for day-to-day tasks like homework that parents or administrators are faced with the overwhelming task of staying on top of their kids’ lives in the online world. The Monitor bridges this gap and not only gives you a ringside view, but also allows you to interact with your kids and instantly adjust the controls in place.
